We all love, more or less, to listening music in our daily life, and what if you get some health benefits while listening to it? There are some health benefits of music; you can avail from your hobby of listening music. 

Our brains have the ability to distinguish between music and noise, and by distinguishing it, brain can channels the effects of such music in your health.

Therefore, here I want to discus about some musical benefits. The benefits on health and well-being of music are as follows:

1.  It lifts up your mood

Music is a powerful tool and we all have access to it. As previously stated, music can increase the secretion of dopamine, a chemical in your brain. It can relax you from anxiety and depression. It helps to lifts up your mood and emotion in a second. 

Another pleasure causing substance or hormone called norepinephrine  also releases in brain if you listen to the music you like. It immediately helps you to get back your good mood.  

If you can play some musical instruments, then must play it. Playing a musical instrument can help you to create a room of yourself, where you can go often when you feel down, and it will make you feel better in no time. 

So, start your day with a melodious tune daily and if you set a playlist of songs which lifts your mood, then listen to it often.

Many studies have shown that listening music can actually work as a stress buster. Music can decrease the level of stress hormone cortisol. You can control your stress level by listening to relaxing music in slow tempo and low pitch.

While listening to music, your blood vessels get dilated, and blood flows more easily than before. It can reduce your heart rate and blood pressure also.  

Music may speed up the recovery from a cardiac procedure by relieving stress. Research suggests that daily listening to music may reduce chest pain and anxiety after a heart attack. It has a calming or soothing effect on our heart.

Listening music in fast tempo can helps you to achieve your workout power and it increases the endurance. You can’t get bored while listening music during your exercise sessions. 

It can boost your mental and physical performance in toughest workout. So, play music during exercise or grab a headphone to listening music during a brisk walking.

By sending a competing stimulus to pain signals to the brain and reducing stress, music can ease the pain. In some cases, music therapy can reduce the intensity of pain.

It works for me a lot. Whenever I feel pain on my body I wish to distract my mind via music and it really works.

Our brain can form a memory-enhancing pattern if you listen to a repetitive rhythm or melody. By this technique you can enhance your memory and achieve better focus. 

Some studies showed that music therapy can improve some symptoms of dementia and it can relax a disturbed patient by improving mood. 

So, indulge yourself in soft and melodious music regularly.

Music can help you to concentrate more on your subject. It can channels our thinking in one direction and helps you to focus. 

Some people need a quiet environment to focus on their work. If you listen to certain melodious tune in the background, it can help to calm you down to focus at your work easily.
